Flourishing Lives
A place of peace and hope

At the Hub we welcome everyone no matter who you are. Our desire is to see every person grow in confidence and live a flourishing, purposeful life. As Christians we cannot do this but we are confident in the power of God which can. We are committed to treating each person as a unique individual, we know life is very messy and each person has their own life experience and specific needs. We want to create a culture of hope and peace, full of forgiveness and mercy, treating everyone with dignity, respect, compassion, and kindness. We see ourselves in partnership with the Spirit of God and so underpin all we do with prayer.

We offer ...

  • Friendship, conversation or just a listening ear
  • Coffee and cakes on a pay as you can basis
  • Signposting to other services
  • Prayer if asked for

We regularly run courses such as CAP Job Club (contact Roger: rogertowner@capjobclubs.org / 07565 829 728), CAP Life skills (contact Sandra: sandralambros@caplifeskills.org / 07354 256 829), Kintsugi Hope or Christianity Explored

News update: We will be running 60 minute CAP Life Skills Taster Sessions on Wednesday, 8th May at 10:30am or 8:00pm. Please contact Sandra for further information or just turn up to either session on the day.

Our opening times ...

... are from 10am until 12pm every Wednesday. Our venue is Portswood Church (find us here).

Our values ...

  • A place of Hope
  • All welcome
  • Everyone treated with dignity, respect, compassion and forgiveness
  • Kindness and honesty in all we do and say
  • Encouraging one another
  • Being peaceful and gracious and not taking offence
  • Prayer always available

We want people to receive the very best experience when they come into the HUB, and part of this is being fully transparent about what we do and don’t offer. So, we commit to publicising and maintaining the following boundaries.

Please not that we do not offer financial help or any other help except as stated above.

We expect everyone in the Hub to treat the venue and each other with polite respect. (Those who are unable to will be asked to leave.)
